About Us
The Shop Comes to You.
Coastal Marine Mechanics was built on a simple idea: boat owners shouldn't have to haul their motor to a shop. We bring the tools, the experience, and the expertise right to your dock.
Our Story
Built on the Water
Andy has spent years working on outboard motors of all makes and sizes. What started as a passion for keeping boats running turned into a full-time mobile repair business serving the Millsboro, DE area and the surrounding coastal communities.
The idea was straightforward: most outboard repairs don't require a full shop. With the right tools and know-how, the vast majority of service work — from tune-ups to diagnostics to electrical repairs — can be done right where your boat sits.
That means less hassle for you, faster turnaround, and no trailering. Just call, schedule, and we'll be there.
Mobile First
We built the business around coming to you. No shop overhead means we stay focused on the work, not the facility.
Honest Work
We diagnose what's actually wrong and fix it. No upselling, no unnecessary parts — just straight answers and solid repairs.
